A Unique Way to Celebrate Italian Heritage and Culture Month

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In honor of Italian American Heritage and Culture Month, the critically acclaimed off-Broadway one man show, Blood Type: Ragu, written and performed by the skillful and engaging Frank Ingrasciotta is now available to view on Broadway on Demand.

Frank’s personal funny and heart-warming story of growing up in Brooklyn, the child of Sicilian immigrants is not only for Italians. It is a tale that can be appreciated by anyone with a family.

The more than 20 (!) characters that Frank brings to life are incredibly rich and well developed. Blood Type: Ragu, an award-winning play, has been performed around the country and Canada. It is a story that will bring you to tears…for a variety of great reasons.

There are many one-person shows that have sprung up in the last few years. I believe that to truly capture the attention of a solo show audience, the play must be well written, performed by an accomplished stage performer, and have an arc that we care about. Frank’s piece hits all the marks.

Until you have an opportunity to see it live again, viewing Blood Type: Ragu on Broadway on Demand is a very close second

Available for a limited time through January, go here to learn more.
