A One Man Play Rich in Character

A one-man play rich in character and story will hit the boards at the famed Legacy Theatre in Stony Creek, Connecticut this month.

Written and performed by Frank Ingrasciotta, Blood Type: RAGU is a tale about growing up in Brooklyn with Sicilian immigrant parents, siblings, neighbors, and extended family.
Frank performs these more than 20 characters brilliantly in a funny, poignant, heart rending and soulful manner that resonates for us all, no matter what your ethnic background.
I have seen Blood Type: RAGU numerous times, as it truly is a wonderful play, masterfully performed. Each time I’ve seen it, I laugh at the hilarious characters, and I still tear up at the sweet resolution at the end.
Blood Type: RAGU takes us on a coming-of-age journey; one that provides understanding of oneself and illuminates the power of love and forgiveness.
The play is the recipient of the Westchester Council Arts Award for Outstanding Artist, a Sons of Italy Recognition Award, and the winner of two United Solo Award for Best Comic Actor and Best Comedic Script (nominated alongside Fiona Shaw, Bette Midler, Hugh Jackman & John Leguizamo).
Performances will take place Friday and Saturday, July 9 and 10 at 7pm and Saturday, July 17 at 2pm.
