Taking a page from another other singer songwriter (Bruce), Melissa Etheridge is coming to New York to perform her world premiere solo show off-Broadway at the wonderful New World Stages on West 50th Street.

From “Come to My Window” to “I’m the Only One,” Melissa will take audiences on a storytelling journey through her music. She will begin with her early years in Kansas and talk about her career highlights, with all the bumps and bruises along the way. Titled My Window-A Journey Through Life, it is directed by Amy Tinkham who directed the Las Vegas residency of Aerosmith.

Etheridge is thrilled to be coming to a theatrical stage and said “I cannot wait to feel the exchange of energy and deep connection that’s provided by an intimate theater experience. That’s going to rock.”

Currently Etheridge is finishing up her national tour and her first graphic novel, Heartstrings, was just released.

My Window-A Journey Through Life opens October 13 and runs for 12 performances only.
