Summer Fun from NYC to the North Fork
If you are looking to flee the city or are in the North Fork vicinity (an absolutely divine part of eastern Long Island) you will definitely want to get to Duck Walk Vineyards, where the fabulous diva, Cristina Fontanelli, will sing classic arias and present colleagues who will join her performing operatic and Broadway favorites. The setting is simply beautiful. You can enjoy a picnic dinner on the grounds of the winery, and then go inside the vineyard to hear the concert and enjoy more wine in the comfort of the vast tasting room.

July 13 at 7:30, Duckwalk Vineyards North, 44535 Main Road, Southold. A special evening of wine, food and amazing song and music with Cristina Fontanelli and her Fabulous Friends.

Staying in town, or perhaps migrating there to enjoy a city weekend is also a great option.

A new show about the legendary Oscar Hammerstein, revered as Broadway royalty, will make its debut at the gorgeous new performance space, the Green Room 42 at the Yotel on 42nd and 10th. Oscar’s grandson, Oscar Hammerstein III, will present his new show, Oscar on Oscar, including music and performance, and storytelling about Oscar’s passionate commitment to human rights and political activism, and the little known fact that J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI maintained a massive file on the iconic lyricist and librettist. What a special way to spend a Saturday night in New York.
Oscar on Oscar, hosted by Oscar Hammerstein III, will play at 7 PM and 9:30 PM, July 13 at the Green Room 42. Oscar On Oscar
