Lynn Henderson: Singer at Work
Beloved NYC‑based cabaret singer Lynn Henderson has long captivated audiences with her warm, expressive vocals and her gift for intertwining music with the rich tapestry of her life. Known for drawing on her fascinating personal experiences — from world travels to equestrian competitions to the universal journey of aging — Lynn brings authenticity, humor, and emotional depth to every performance.
She began singing as a child and toured the Eastern U.S. during her college years as a big‑band vocalist, laying the foundation for a lifelong artistic path that eventually led her to the New York cabaret scene, where she became a cherished presence.
Her first CD, Singer at Work, is now available to listen to on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. Created in collaboration with composer and pianist Douglas J. Cohen, the album features seventeen beautifully curated tracks, including the title song written by Tom Toce and Cohen. Lynn is joined by an exceptional trio:
- Douglas J. Cohen, piano
- Sherrie Maricle, drums
- Jennifer Leitham, bass

The cover photo was taken by her dear friend and vocal coach Mark Planner, and the album was recorded at the late Jimmy Czak’s legendary Nola Studios — adding a touch of New York musical history to the project.
This release is also a testament to the dedication of her longtime PR partner Betsyann Faiella, whose support helped bring the album to streaming platforms for the first time.
A true labor of love — and a beautiful window into the artistry and life story of Lynn Henderson.
