Easy Summer to Fall Transitional Outfit Tips
Transitioning from summer to Fall dressing can be tricky.
Equally challenging is deciding how to dress for warm weather in the Fall.
You don’t want to look too Summery, and you don’t want to be hot in heavier clothes when it is in the 70s or above in September and October.
Instead of stressing about what to wear, try these tips to help you make a choice that will make you look and feel seasonally appropriate.
Scarlett’s Tips
- Add earth-toned shoes and a bag, as in my photo above.
- Wear sling-back shoes instead of boots or sandals. See above.
- Wear lighter colored tops with darker jeans or pants. See above.
- Wear a sleeveless top under a lightweight fitted jacket like the denim one I’m wearing at the Grand Canyon below.
Avoid wearing tropical colors and prints. Save them for vacations or next Spring, which will be here before you know it.
Check out the company, Ally Shoes, I recently discovered that makes the pretty slingbacks I’m wearing.
They make comfortable shoes in widths from hard-to-find narrow to extra wide, customized to your needs.
Yes, they cost more than you might typically spend, but they’re worth it.
