Please join the 3Ts Cheryl Benton at the Alvin Ailey Theatre for a special evening of ballet and tributes that benefits Under The Rainbow and their New York International Ballet Trainee Program.  This wonderful non-profit group provides opportunities for young, talented artists to access high quality ballet training to enable them to cultivate their talents to the highest level. You’ll see top pros and some of these young people perform at a tribute evening honoring Tony Award winner, Liliane Montevecchi, the French-Italian actress, dancer, and singer, who began her career as a prima ballerina. Here are the details.

7 to 8PM Cocktail Reception

8PM Performance

Performances by:

  • Ramon Thielen, former principal dancer, Dance Theatre of Harlem
  • Tatiana Verenova, former prima ballerina, Bolshoi Theater
  • International Ballet Trainee Program 2015 Dancers

Individual tickets are $50 or $75 for a ticket plus two raffle tickets. Children under 16 are free.

liliane1The fabulous career of French chanteuse Liliane Montevecchi has included stints as a Tony-winning musical theater actress (as Liliane La Fleur in Nine), a prima ballerina in Paris, a member of the Folies Bergere and a dancer in1950s Hollywood films such as The Glass Slipper.
