• Price check everything
  Don’t assume a Prime Day banner means a real discount. Compare the current price to its typical range.
• Use Amazon’s expanded price history tool
  Amazon now shows up to a full year of pricing data. Look for the “Price History” link or ask Alexa directly.
• Ask Alexa for the two lowest prices in the last six months
  This instantly tells you whether today’s price is worth jumping on.
• Set price alerts or even auto‑buy rules
  Alexa can notify you when an item drops — or automatically purchase it if it hits your target price.
• Make your list early
  Add items to your cart or Saved for Later now so you can see price drops instantly when the sale begins.
• Check your Buy Again page
  Everyday essentials often get Prime Day discounts too.
• Review deals daily
  Amazon releases new limited‑time deals at:
  • Midnight PT
  • 8 a.m. PT
  • 1 p.m. PT
  Plus new deals every five minutes during peak windows.
• Use Alexa’s new personalized Prime Day guide
  It builds a custom list based on your shopping history.
• Take advantage of Amazon brand discounts
  Ring, Kindle, Blink, Fire TV, Echo, Amazon Essentials, and Amazon Basics almost always get deep cuts.
• Grab free trials and discounted subscriptions
  Audible, Kindle Unlimited, and Prime Video channels (Paramount+, Starz, Peacock, MGM+, etc.) are typically heavily discounted.
  Pro tip: sign up, then cancel immediately — you keep access for the full promo period.
