Armchair Art Tour of Florence and Secret Florence

NYC LIFE: Outdoor Dining, Secret Florence, Music, Benefits, Entertainment

A few months ago, we did a wonderful in person gallery tour with art historian Nadja Hansen whose tours are brilliantly inspiring! Now she is hosting virtual tours and this one which will be a dive into the extraordinary art, food, architecture, artisan workshops, and churches of Florence.

The tour will look at works in famed collections like the Uffizzi and the Accademia and less touristy (but wondrous) museums like the Horne, the Bargello, and the house museum Palazzo Davanzati. You will also stop off at secret spots hidden in plain sight and those that are truly hidden. You will not only see art of the Renaissance for which it is so famous but special places of 18th, 19th and even 20th century import. Along the way you will “walk” its beautiful streets, duck into some secret gardens and wineries, and see a quick video from a local. Register for one of two dates below. Tour is 1 hour and 15 minutes and cost $40.00

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24 at 2pm. Register here.
