Everybody loves Candace, who turned 80 this month and in this very funny and charming video, she was interviewed by her daughter Chloe Malle, who is head of Vogue’s U.S. editorial content. Candice Bergen is no stranger to the world of Vogue: she first graced the cover in 1967, played a Vogue editor on Sex and the City. Ahead of Mother’s Day, Chloe brought Candice into the studio to talk life, work, and parenthood. On the subject of balancing her shooting schedule for Murphy Brown with being a mom, Candice recalls: “It was certainly demanding to do a show and be the kind of present parent that I wanted to be…but I felt that I was present in ways that mattered and on a continuous basis.”
