Wine Trip; 2025: A Toast to an Unforgettable Day

Sunday, September 14 was one for the books—and the wine glasses! Our journey through the beautiful vineyards of Long Island’s North Fork was filled with sunshine, laughter, and the kind of memories that linger like a good Cabernet.

From the moment our buses departed NYC and Hicksville, the energy was electric. Tomatoes (and yes, a few tomato-loving guys too!) came ready to sip, savor, and celebrate. Here are photos from our terrific day thanks to Roni Jenkins and Anne Akers.

🌿 Vineyard Highlights

Osprey’s Dominion welcomed us with its laid-back charm and award-winning varietals. The Sauvignon Blanc and Carmenere were crowd favorites, enjoyed under wide skies and among good company.

Lenz Winery offered a masterclass in Old World elegance. Their Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc reminded us why craftsmanship and coastal terroir matter—and why this vineyard is a quiet legend.

Pindar Vineyards closed out our day with music, tastings, and sweeping views. As Long Island’s largest vineyard, it delivered bold blends and a festive atmosphere that had us dancing into the sunset.

🧺 Picnic Lunch & Prizes

Our midday picnic was the perfect pairing to the tastings—fresh, delicious, and shared among new friends. And let’s not forget the fabulous gift bags and bus prizes that added sparkle to the ride!

🙏 Special Thanks

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsor Revitin, whose support helped make this day so special. We’re also deeply grateful to our gift bag contributors, who filled each tote with thoughtful treats and surprises that kept the smiles going long after the last pour.

Whether you came for the wine, the views, or the company—we’re so glad you joined us. Until next time, cheers to friendship, flavor, and the joy of shared experiences. 🍇💃🚌
