Anne Akers and Cheryl Benton welcome you to our seventh Renewal Summit, at the beautiful Scandinavia House in midtown Manhattan. It is an exciting and inspiring all day event of outstanding panels, speakers, exhibitors, and connecting with other fabulous women. Moderator: Dr. Robi Ludwig, Psychotherapist, award winning reporter, Author of ‘Your Best Age Is Now’

Panelists:

  • Kailen Rosenberg, founder of The Love Architects and My Love Design, a luxury, online dating, lifestyle, and wellness platform. Author of “Real Love, Right Now.” She was Oprah’s Love Ambassador and co-host of Love Town USA.
  • Ann Louden, aka Kate Somerset author of “Mom, You Just Have To Get Laid.” She is a seasoned executive in the nonprofit world and founder of a strategy and consulting firm.
  • Nancy White,  author of “It Could Happen to You. ”  She is certified life coach specializing in relationships with a focus on self-worth and self-love.
  • Dr.. Nan Bauer-Maglin, co-editor “Gray Love: Stories About Dating and New Relationships After 60.” She is Professor Emerita at the City University of New York.

This panel will explore some of the latest alternative medical treatments including holistic practices, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, regenerative medicine and psychedelic therapies.

Moderator: Beatty Cohan, psychotherapist, sex therapist, author, national speaker, radio host, “Ask Beatty”

Panelists

    • Roberta Mittman, holistic life coach and Chinese medicine practioner. She has over 25 years of experience as a board-certified acupuncturist and holistic life coach.
    • Dr John Kennedy is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and is the Chief of the Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery at NYU Langone Health. He is a pioneer in the realm of ortho-biologics and regenerative medicine.
    • Ronit Kishon, Ph.D.  Associate Professor of Clinical Medical Psychology, Columbia University. She is trained in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Moderator: Joan Pagano, is the author of best-selling fitness books, an informational speaker on health and fitness topics and the owner of Joan Pagano Fitness in New York City. She is an authority on the benefits of exercise for menopause, osteoporosis and breast cancer.

  • Heidi Skolnik, author, nutritionist and exercise physiologist. A thought leader in nutrition, she has influenced millions through her work.
  • Joyce Shulman, author, “99 Walks that Will Change Your Life.” She is an idea junkie, entrepreneur, community builder, writer, speaker, podcaster, walker.
  • Claire Gill, CEO, Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation. She is an accomplished leader with more than 25 years of diverse experience in nonprofit and for-profit businesses.

 


2:25-3:10. How to Get Unstuck

A panel of experts will motivate you to discover what you are passionate about and how to achieve your goals.

Moderator: Adrienne Garland is the founder of She Leads Media, a media company dedicated to leadership – both professionally and personally – for women

  • Sonia Satra, founder Moticise, motivational speaker, actress, author “What If It Were Easy”
  • Deborah Goldstein, founder CEO, Driven Professionals, executive coach and workshop facilitator with customized live and virtual programming.
  • Janet M. Neal, a writer, certified coach, speaker and a woman living a “should-free” life, author “The Superb Woman”
  • Patricia Kara, actress, model, TV personality (Deal or No Deal), author, “Dream On…Now Deliver”

 


3:15-3:55. Why Women Owned Businesses Don’t Get funded

This panel of experts includes angel investors and venture capitalists who will share how to get funded and why women should invest in women owned businesses.

Moderator: Jeanne Sullivan, co-founder, NYC tech fund and Chief Investment Officer, Arcview Collective Fund. Named by Forbes as one of the Women “Changing the World” grooming the next generation of female VCs

Panelists:

  • Victoria Pettibone is Managing Director of Astia, a global organization that levels the investment playing field for entrepreneurial teams with women leaders.
  • Angela Lee  teaches venture capital, leadership, and strategy courses at COLUMBIA BUSINESS SCHOOL. She is the founder of 37 Angels, an investing network that has invested in 80 start-ups.
  • Tanya Osborne is a community leader, entrepreneur, coach, educator from the Music Industry to Financial Services, Business Coaching and now…Cannabis.

Cheryl Benton will interview Mercedes Ellington, Founder/Artistic Director of the 50lc-3 Duke Ellington Centers for the Arts; Director, Choreographer, Producer, Performer, and Family Historian for her grandfather, the Duke.  A graduate of the Julliard School of Music and an honorary citizen of Paris, she has toured worldwide on behalf of the Duke Ellington Orchestra and with her Tap Dance Company, assisted by Maurice Hines.  A modern day dance pioneer, her earlier credits include being the only June Taylor Dancer of color on the Jackie Gleason Show and she recently has received several awards for her new passion in the world of Ballroom Dance.Truly a lady “living life to the fullest”.


4:15 to 4:30 Presentation of The Three Tomatoes & Glow Beauty Magazine Woman of Purpose Award

 

The award, presented by Cheryl Benton and Anne Akers, recognizes inspirational role models who are not defined by age or labels, but are all about living life fully at any age, and as a “Woman of Purpose” projects the inner and outer glow that comes from living a fully integrated life of purpose, service, and humanity.

This year’s recipient is Stacy Francis, founder of Savvy Ladies and CEO Francis Financial. Savvy Ladies is a non-profit dedicated to the belief that all women should have the financial knowledge and confidence to achieve financial empowerment. Stacy is also the Founder, CEO and President of Francis Financial, Inc., a Wealth Management and Financial Planning firm.
