A new entry in family entertainment is coming to town in September. Sesame Street the Musical will have its world premiere beginning on Thursday September 8, with opening night on September 19.

Featuring new songs written by Tom Kitt, Helen Park and Nate Edmondson, the kid-friendly show will open at Theatre Row, 410 West 42 Street. Iconic Sesame Street characters including Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie will appear on the show that will be filled with puppetry, old musical favorites, and new songs.

Written, directed, and produced by Jonathan Rockefeller, this sure to be delightful musical runs through November 27.
