Miami Life: Celebrating December in Miami Beach
My Dear Three Tomatoes family,
The holiday season is here, and so is traffic in South Beach!! No complaints, though, I love it when you all come to see us from the cold. With Art Basel and all the festivities ahead of us, Miami Beach became a true destination. When I started in 2001, I would constantly hear from everyone, “How could you leave Paris for Miami? What’s wrong with you? “I thought a lot about it, and it was the best move I could have made. I guess I knew at a younger age that one’s lifestyle is very important, it’s not enough to make a good living, residing in a beautiful area, and basically buy anything you want. Waking up every day in the sun, swimming every day in that ocean, is also very important. And you know what happened? Miami has more cultural activities and is truly becoming a hub for many industries. All this to say, no matter your age, your socioeconomic background, if God puts in your heart something, don’t dismiss it. He created you, and He knows best! Thine Agency and I wish you all a wonderful and blessed December!

Each edition transforms its host city into a vibrant art destination, featuring monumental installations, curated sectors, and conversation-sparking works—from Maurizio Cattelan’s infamous duct-taped banana to Beeple’s recent robotic canine sculptures. Beyond the spectacle, Art Basel fosters dialogue about innovation, community, and the evolving role of art in society, with initiatives like the newly launched Art Basel Awards recognizing icons, established figures, and emerging talents.
