5 Fantastic Grill Dishes

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

I’m ready to party! Aren’t you? I feel like I’ve been let loose from my cage! Not only is it summer but now we can all get together and dance, drink, and play!

I hope that you’ll be doing some cooking and entertaining this summer. This is, by far, my favorite season to cook! What are some of your favorite recipes to make on the grill?

Here are five of my favorite grill dishes to make!

1. Grilled Romaine Salad with Parmesan

Grilling your lettuce gives the greens a whole new layer of smoky flavor while slightly wilting the leaves. This makes for a fun twist on a classic Caesar salad or any salad with hearty lettuce like Romaine. I LOVE the contrast of the crunchy romaine hearts with the tender leaves, creamy anchovy dressing, grated Parm, and pine nuts! Click here for the recipe🥗

2. Grilled Artichokes with Remoulade

Grilled artichokes are one of life’s simple pleasures. Artichokes can be so much fun to eat! I brush them with butter and garlic and grill them to get a wonderful smoky flavor. You can’t have grilled artichokes without a rich, tangy dipping sauce like remoulade! Click here for the recipe.

3. Grilled Pizza

Grilled pizza is a brilliant way to mimic a wood-fired oven. I take the easy way out and don’t even make my own pizza dough. Who has time for that during the week?! This recipe is so simple and it’ll make everyone happy! Click here for the recipe.

4. Grilled Lamb Chops with Rosemary and Garlic

Grilled lamb is just about as summertime as you can get, in my opinion. The key is to find the best quality meat you can find. I like to use the wild range grass-fed lamb from Lava Lake. For a marinade, I marry my lamb with Dijon, garlic, olive oil, and rosemary, but you could simply use salt and pepper and let the meat do all of the talking. Click here for the recipe.

5. Rosewater Grilled Peaches with Fresh Ricotta and Honey

If you’ve never tried grilling your peaches, you’re missing out! These juicy peaches are grilled and stuffed with ricotta, rosewater, honey, lemon zest, and rose petals. This unique recipe is from Chef Edouard Massih. Edy is a Lebanese chef, caterer, entrepreneur, and the founder of  Edy’s Grocer in Brooklyn, not to mention a very good friend. These grilled peaches are such a gorgeous way to end a meal! Click here for the recipe.

Happy grilling! I’m sure whatever you choose to make for this summer will be perfect, but if you make any of my grilled dishes, I’d love to hear from you. Stay safe and enjoy celebrating the start of summer with your friends and family.
