After three long years, we will finally be back in the beautiful vineyards of the North Fork of Long Island Sunday September 25.  Join us for a fabulous day that includes round trip transportation with two pick up points – NYC and Hicksville; three vineyards including a farm; wine tastings; a picnic lunch, live music and fabulous gift bags and bus prizes too!!!  You’ll meet other fun wine loving “tomatoes.”  (PS – guys are welcomed too.)

This Year’s Itinerary

Pindar Vineyards

Pindar Vineyards encompasses more than 500 scenic acres. They grow 17 varieties of grapes, crafting them into some 23 varietals and proprietary blends. They produce 70,000 cases of wine a year, making them the largest vineyard on Long Island. We will enjoy wine tastings and our picnic lunch there.

We will enjoy their award-winning wines in their beautiful Wine Barn which was renovated from a rustic 100-year-old potato barn. And the added bonus is the farm stand is open for fresh vegetables, homemade pies, and flowers too! The Harbes have been farming on Long Island for over 13 generations and this is their 30th year.

The doors of our tasting room are always open to anyone who is looking to immerse themselves in the ever-changing world of wine. It’s a beautiful vineyard. We’ll enjoy tastings and live music!

9:00 am – NYC Pickup. The Townhouse Diner, 696 2nd Ave, between 37th & 38th Streets, New York, NY 10016. RETURN FOR NYC passengers. You will be dropped off at Hicksville Train Station (trains leave @every 15 minutes and it is a direct train to Penn Station (about 42 minutes.) Train ticket included with your ticket fee. Please note this is the quickest way to get back to NYC on a Sunday night.

9:45 am – Hicksville Pickup. 195 North Broadway, Hicksville (front parking lot near Chipotle.)

Return to Hicksville about 5:15 PM.
