This Devil Wears Dior and is All Over the Details!
Our roving photographer, Nicole Freezer Rubens writes:
After a 4 year renovation the new Christian Dior store reopened on 57th and Madison, nestled next to several of its flagship cousins. LMVH has invested time and great fortunes to create the most incredibly beautiful and innovative stores for their signature luxury brands, neighbors Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton, which is actually only a temporary emporium during their 4 year renovation on the same block.
All of these shops were designed by architect Peter Marino, who captures the brands’ overall message by combining cutting edge design with fine art, plush carpets, and the most unexpected, whimsical details. Every flower is always fresh and kept fresh. Marino had been working with Dior since 1994 and as is evident in this grand store, has a deep understanding of the Dior design that preceded and inspired him.
I highly recommend visiting all 3 grandiose establishments. The beauty and intention on display is a mind blowing museum of fashion, interiors, art, and texture. Let true fantasy and creative genius take you down the rabbit hole for a quick visit to the lap of bona fide luxury, beyond your wildest daydreams!

The tomato behind The Three Tomatoes.
Cheryl Benton, aka the “head tomato” is founder and publisher of The Three Tomatoes, a digital lifestyle magazine for “women who aren’t kids”. Having lived and worked for many years in New York City, the land of size zero twenty-somethings, she was truly starting to feel like an invisible woman. She created The Three Tomatoes just for the fun of it as the antidote for invisibility and sent it to 60 friends. Today she has thousands of friends and is chief cheerleader for smart, savvy women who want to live their lives fully at every age and every stage. She is the author of the novel, "Can You See Us Now?" and co-author of a humorous books of quips, "Martini Wisdom." Because she's lived a long time, her full bio won't fit here.
