a 5 time Billboard Magazine Award winner, is perhaps best known for her unprecedented success holding the #1 position in the New York radio market as the midday host of New York’s 106.7 FM. She was also the co-creator, writer, producer and host of 'Spotlight On,' a nationally syndicated program that featured in-depth interviews with top recording artists such as Paul McCartney, Elton John, Sting and Celine Dion, to name a few.
Presently, Valerie can be heard narrating "Fatal Encounters", the new hit series on Investigation Discovery. Her "Valerie's New York" podcasts featuring interesting personalities can be accessed on her page on www.wor710,com and on

She is also the voice of numerous commercials and television promos and the “Voice of God” for many prestigious live events including: The Clinton Global Initiative, The New York Emmy Awards, The Tony Preview Concert on CBS, and many more. As adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts, Valerie teaches a course on How to be a Media Personalityand Voice-over, and also coaches talent privately,.

Check this out: The Long Island Elite, an organization that is dedicated to the growth of Long Island business professionals, is celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary with a masquerade ball on Thursday, June 14th. This event will take place at the magnificent Oheka Castle in Cold Spring Harbor, New York.
This year’s theme is Superheroes, and the evening is slated to be infused with
mystery and excitement. There will be 7 honorees of the evening, including dynamo Dawn Strain of DJS Events, a dynamic events company. Proceeds from the evening will support several not for profit organizations. And hey, you can come in your “Wonderwoman” costume , if you are moved to do so. Black tie is also acceptable!
