Do you suffer from RPS - Retirement Panic Syndrome?
The majority of boomers will have 20 or so years of retirement. But how can you be sure you don't outlive your money? Our guest this week on Tomatoes in the Trenches is Mark Miller, author of " The Hard Times Guide to Retirement Security; Practical Strategies for Money, Work and Living" and writes Retire Smart, a syndicated weekly newspaper column. Mark has practical, clear ideas about how to make your money last. His advice will help calm our frazzled nerves. Listen in live on August 11, at 1 PM ET and get some solid advice and rid yourself of RPS - retirement panic syndrome.

Shop Florence with Kathy Fahy | The Joy of Shopping in FlorenceYou've been to Italy. You've seen the cathedrals, the frescos, the sculptures. And in between the culture, you've squeezed in some shopping. Well wouldn't it be great to do a trip that just focuses on the shopping, eating part of Italy? And wouldn't it be great to have an insider who knows where the best shopping is, and where all the best deals are in one of Italy's most glorious cities -- Florence. If you're ready to treat yourself, then Kathy Fahy, our shopping guru, who knows Florence as well as she knows NYC, will put together a bespoke shopping and dining trip exclusively for you and your friends. And she will be your personal escort. Maybe she'll even add the Ferrgamo Museum (see below) too. Get the details.
One of 10,000 shoes | The Shoe Museum in FlorenceWe've been to Florence many times, and we thought we had seen all the museums. And then a Tomato friend recently sent us her photos of the Ferragamo Shoe Museum. We don't know how the heck we've missed this one, (we suspect Mr. Tomato sabatoge) but the museum boasts a collection of 10,000 shoe designs by Ferragamo from the end of the 1920's until 1960, the year of his death. We're drooling over these shoes. Check out a few of the photos courtesy of our Tomato friend. It's almost like being there!
Okay, so a little closer to home, and little more in line with saving for retirement, we've got this week's finds. Like this fabulous dress that looks so Joan Holloway in Mad Men. And it's available right now from Nordstorm's (in Joan's size 12 too) for $78. Get the details at3T Shopping.
