Events Galore and Tomato Worthy Pit Stops Too

This time of the year, it seems like everyone is trying to jam every event in before the summer starts and the mass city exodus begins. We've got a terrific selection of fun and worthy events all over town. But selfishly, and because this is our space, we are going to start with our own event on May 6, a very fun evening of Pool, Poker, and Pampering. And events we're involved with, like the walk on May 16 to say no to violence against women. And when you're out roaming all over town, and need to make a pit stop, we've got the Guide to the Best Public Ladies Rooms in NYC (with the link this time too.) So read on, and get out there tomatoes. There's no shortage of events and doings around town, like a live performance of old time radio mysteries  at the Partners and Crime bookstore in Greenwich Village.

gabGet your pool game on and your poker face straight We are heading downtown to Wall Street, the bastion of the old boys club, to The Downtown Association, the fifth oldest social club in New York, whose members have counted U.S. presidents, titans of industry, Wall Street tycoons -- and now tomatoes too! And thanks to one of our tomatoes with juice (and a membership), this members only club is not only opening its doors to tomatoes, but its game room too. So here's your chance to play with the big tomatoes, and improve your pool game, enhance your poker skills, get a manicure, makeup advice, your palm read, enjoy the company of other fun tomatoes, and of course enjoy some great food and wine too. And we'll have a silent auction to support a great organization that is helping women artisans in Zimbabwe.  We'll have goody bags, raffle items and more surprises to come. Tickets are $75 and they will be selling out faster than the stock market can go down. Get your game on and join us on May 6!
