Tomatoes on the Radio, TV, and all around town Happy Saturday and happy official start of summer. Although a lovely sunny weekend would be a welcomed change. The Three Tomatoes are growing mold. But before we get too moldy, we want to tell you about a couple of fun things that happened to tomatoes this week. And then we have a few fun suggestions of things to do around town. And a great workshop for women over 50 looking for a career transition.
First, The Three Tomatoes, PTA Mom, and our west coast tomato friend Debbie Zipp from In The Trenches Productions, were guests on The Real Cougar Woman radio show yesterday. We had a lively discussion on why Hollywood doesn't produce more movies and TV shows by women, for women, and featuring actresses "who aren't kids", that tomatoes would like to see. You can listen in at your leisure.
Second, speaking of women producers and filmmakers, thanks in part to your votes, The Louise Log #13, one of the very funny episodes in a series we've been posting on 3T.TV, WON the Channel 13/WNET competition for best short and will be broadcast tonight at 11:29:11 PM. So if you happen to be up tune in, or watch it on 3T.TV whenever you like. Congratulations to the tomato behind the camera, Ann Flournoy. Way to go tomatoes.
