Spring with the kids
Alice's Tea Cup will delight little girls and big girls too. There are three locations in Manhattan, and all have charming little tea rooms, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Little ones can wear fairy wings as they munch on scones and jellies, and other goodies,. And of course there is a great range of teas to choose from too. Or for grown up girls you could go straight to the wine list.
Head to Dylans Candy Bar, the world's largest candy store , on Third Avenue across the street from Bloomingdales. The store has three floors and more than 5,000 varieties of candy, from imported and elegant specialty goods to novelty items, and was founded by Dylan Lauren (daughter of Ralph). It features a chocolate bar and nostalgic candies tomatoes will remember from childhood. But what the kids love best are the bins and bins of loose candy that you can mix and match. You can buy their goodies online too. Dylans Candy Bar, 1011 Third Ave, NYC.
