What a year, things we're grateful for, what's in/out

Wishing you peace, joy, and happiness
December 22, 2008

What a year!  Things we hold dear.  Our What's in/What's out list.  And our best wishes for a joyful holiday.

Another year's almost over, and a new one's about to begin.   Hooray, and halleluiah, and pass around those martinis.   Now we know that each day is a precious gift, and every year is a blessing, blah, blah, blah, but this was one rocky road year for sure, and if you're like The Three Tomatoes you're happy to bid it adieu. Not that it didn't have its good moments.  And in tough times, the things that we know are most important in life, and sometimes forget about in the good times, bubble back up to the surface.  So here are some of the good things that we hold dear and will try to keep precious as we move into a new year.  And we have our what's in/what's out list too.

But first tomatoes, we want to wish each and everyone of you, and all your families too, a Happy Chanukah, a Merry Christmas, a wonderful everything, and most of all, peace, health, and happiness in the New Year.

A few of the things we're grateful for:
  • The laughter of children and the joy of being around them.
  • Health, health, health.
  • Friends who are there in the good times and the bad.
  • Families who feed our souls.
  • A roof over our heads and food on our table.
  • Laugher, laughter, laughter.
  • Discounts, discounts, discounts.
  • Young people who are willing to spend their holidays and every other day keeping us safe.
  • Our country, flaws, warts, and all.
  • Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes.
  • And the occasional martini too!
