What a year! Things we hold dear. Our What's in/What's out list. And our best wishes for a joyful holiday.
Another year's almost over, and a new one's about to begin. Hooray, and halleluiah, and pass around those martinis. Now we know that each day is a precious gift, and every year is a blessing, blah, blah, blah, but this was one rocky road year for sure, and if you're like The Three Tomatoes you're happy to bid it adieu. Not that it didn't have its good moments. And in tough times, the things that we know are most important in life, and sometimes forget about in the good times, bubble back up to the surface. So here are some of the good things that we hold dear and will try to keep precious as we move into a new year. And we have our what's in/what's out list too. But first tomatoes, we want to wish each and everyone of you, and all your families too, a Happy Chanukah, a Merry Christmas, a wonderful everything, and most of all, peace, health, and happiness in the New Year. A few of the things we're grateful for:
What's in What's Out
Piggy Banks. Stocks.
Layaway. Credit Cards. Stormy day friends. Fair weather friends. Eating in. Eating out. The clothes in your closet. The latest trend. Quality people. Quality things. Health acquisition. Wealth acquisition. Time. Money.
Price Club/Walmart. It bags/Manolos. Values. Greed.
Main Street. Wall Street. Hope. Pessimism. May 2009 bring you, our country, and our new president, fortitude, wisdom, and most of all hope and the faith to see of us through the challenging times we live in. Peace. 'til next year,
The Three Tomatoes
