BeWell, a "real" expert-guided online community centered on credible health content and dialogue.

Co-founded by NBC News chief medical editor,
Dr. Nancy Synderman, whom you see frequently if you're a
Today Show junkie like us, and renowned breast cancer expert,
Dr. Susan Love, whose best seller book
Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book was dubbed as the breast cancer "bible" by the
New York Times.
BeWell features a team of healthcare experts and the opportunity for expert-guided online health discussions. "These are the experts to whom we, as doctors, would turn for advice," said Dr. Nancy Snyderman. And now, here's the best part. Every week at
The Three Tomatoes you'll find some terrific advice from the BeWell team, and a chance to join in the conversations at their web site.

Vino Cheers for Everyone on Your List
Most of us will be attending a holiday party or two within the next few weeks hosted at someone's house. In addition to bringing the traditional bottle of Cabernet or Bubbly from your favorite vintner like Banfi, why not add some fun to the party by adding one of these bottles into the mix. It's sure to add to the conversation and you never know-- most of them are also good enough to stand on their own. Our new favorite wine store is
K&D Wines and Spirits in Manhattan. Neil, the manager has ordered some of our favorites below-tell him we sent you. They will ship FREE to anywhere in Manhattan with NO minimum! Call them at 212-289-1818, visit them at 1366 Madison Avenue or
online .
Bitch (Grenache South Australia)
The Three Tomatoes were waiting at the bar at one of our favorite restaurants for our table when we saw this wine offered by the glass. The label is very funny and on the back it says Bitch about 70 times. And, it's good-it received a 90 rating from Robert Parker. Available
online for $10.79. Buy a case to give to all the Bitches in your life.
Fat Bastard Not to leave the men out,
The Three Tomatoes are equal opportunity offenders. The name came from a French friend of the winemaker who used the term FAT bastard often to describe things that were great but hearing it in a French accent made it so much funnier. And so, a wine was born. Offered in several different varietals, they range from about $12-$20 a bottle. Special ordered for The Three Tomatoes by
K&D Wines and Spirits in Manhattan. And tell Neil we sent you.
Recession Red For the Tomatoes who have been Pink Slipped. The label says "Times are tough. Toast the simple pleasures." This wine has been flying off the shelves- good luck finding it. Priced at only $3.99, you can always make vinegar if you don't like it. We thought it wasn't bad at all. Available Dec. 15th at
Gotham Wines on 94th Street and Broadway (212) 932-0990. Or for you Tomatoes willing to travel to Long Island it can be found at
Bottle Buys in Glen Head for $2.99!
Doghouse It's no surprise that
The Three Tomatoes love our dogs. Show your dog lover friends how much you doggone appreciate them with a bottle of Dog House wine. This winery is not only highly awarded, but affordable. And, the best part, their pet cause at Dog House is raising money for
Guide Dogs for the Blind, a charitable organization that provides guide dogs and training free of charge to the blind and visually impaired. Most wines retail for about $10. Here's the
retail store locator link.
