PTA Mom's Watermelon Martini Recipe
4 cups cubed watermelon, seeds removed
1 cup crushed ice (use cubes if you don’t have crushed)
Juice from one fresh lime
4 ounces of good quality vodka (I used Ciroc Red Berry)
1 ounce Midori liquor (optional)
Spearmint leaves
Lime zest
Blend in blender until frothy. Pour into a Smarty Had a Party Martini glass. Add grated Lime zest to top and tear the leave of a Spearmint leaf on top as garnish. Enjoy!

Elegant Dining on Plastic - Yes Plastic!
Yes we know if we say “elegant outdoor dining”, plastic plates and dishes do not ordinarily come to mind. Until now. We recently discovered a terrific web site, with a great name too, “Smarty Had a Party” that has the most beautiful array of plastic entertaining items we’ve ever seen. They’re so pretty we haven’t wanted to use them yet, so we keep showing them to everyone who visits us, and they’ve all immediately said, “Where Can I Get these”? And they have a champagne flute that we’ve been using over and over again while floating in the pool. PTA Mom served us a fab watermelon martini in the glass pictured below. Oh Cabana Boy, we need a refill. And yes, they are disposable, but you’re so going to want to use them again. And they're sturdy enough so you can, which helps because they are a little pricey.
