How to get sexy credit

Credit is becoming increasingly important. Not only is it something we rely on to get loans and mortgages but employers are also checking credit of some of their employees. As well, I'm seeing the topic of credit scores being raised in the early days of a relationship.

Yes, even potential romantic partners – both men and women – understand that credit scores are important. To some people, it might seem inconceivable that a dating relationship or budding romance might start or end on a credit score but is it really that strange?

A credit score isn't just a measure of our likelihood to pay back a loan. (Yes, it IS that but it's more). It's an indicator of how much we move around, how well we can handle responsibility and commitment, and whether there is some capacity (in the form of unused credit) to handle the changing tides of life.
Yes, even in dating, credit can be sexy! Lenders, employers, and potential romantic partners are all seeing the importance of the information communicated in a credit score. Here are a few more ways that credit can be sexy:

A sexy woman is one who knows what she wants and works independently to get it. She knows that her goals and dreams will only be accomplished under her own power. When Anne-Marie decided that it was time to buy a house, she worked hard to make sure that her credit good and was as optimal as it could be before going to get a mortgage.

A sexy woman is one who can confidently handle the twists and turns of life. Good credit gives you the confidence that you can handle any situation that life throws at you, even if it requires money to solve the problem. When Lisa broke her leg while skiing, she had the good credit to afford the extra hotel night stays and rental car.

A sexy woman seems like she has it all together. She knows her strengths and her weaknesses and doesn't let anyone else define who she is. Jennifer regularly checks her credit to dispute errors and checks to make sure that there are no concerns or problem areas on her credit report that might lower her score.

A sexy woman is smart and wise. She is aware that there are unscrupulous people out there and she protects herself from them. Sarah didn't want to become another statistic in the long line of people who have been victims of identity theft so she pulls her credit regularly to ensure that everything is exactly the way she wants it.

For those times when we want to feel sexy, we've got a little black dress, great shoes, a go-to hair style, and a shade of lipstick that looks GOOD. There's something about having it all together that makes us feel sexy. But that's not the only way we can be sexy. Good credit is sexy, too.
