Blues Night for Haiti – Sunday night 2/7
The fabulous blues singer Amy Coleman (whose new album “The Lady in Blues was just released) is hosting a Blues Night benefit for Haiti on Sunday night 2/7 at 7:00 PM. You’ll be treated to an evening of fabulous blues performances by several artists, and you just never know who might drop by. Tickets are just just $20 and 100% of the proceeds will go to Doctors without Boarders.
Sunday, February 7 at 7:00- 10 PM.

Usher in Chinese New Year – Sunday 2/7
Kick off the Year of the Tiger at The Riverside Church on Sunday February 7 at 3PM. As part of its long-running Christ Chapel Chamber Series The Riverside Church is presenting the traditional Chinese ensemble Melody of Dragon. The performance if FREE.
Sunday, February 7 at 3:00 p.m. in Christ Chapel of the church, entrance at 91 Claremont Ave. (bet. 120th & 122nd St.), Morningside Heights.
Feb. 11 Valentine’s Chocolate & Wine Tasting
If bowling’s not your thing, but chocolates and wine are, then celebrate the launch of the Global Giving Circle’s Global Cocoa Project.
A portion of the proceeds of the ticket sales will be donated to the
Global Giving Circle for their Global Cocoa Project, which supports cocoa
farmers and their families across the globe. In addition they have a Haiti Bar (yummy rich chocolate) and $1.00 of each bar sold will go to Partners in Health, a fabulous organization on the ground in Haiti.
When: February 11th from 7-9pm
Where: Hudson Terrace, 621 W. 46h St., New York (between 11th and 12th)
Cost: Tickets start at $40 per person
Higher ticket prices are available along with Valentine’s Day gifts.
