It's like having the whole Mayo Clinic Team on Your Side

Like lots of other tomatoes, The Three Tomatoes had a stressful past year, and the result was the scales went up!  We weren't exercising enough, and we were doing a lot of stress eating.  Talk about a bad combo.  So we decided there are a lot of things we can't control right now, but our weight is not one of them.  So this book arrived at a perfect time.

What we love about it is it's really not a "diet book."  There is no stringent diet to follow, but rather a common sense approach to weight loss.  There's no calorie counting.  The book has two parts, The Lose It, and the Live It.

Each chapter is written by a different expert at the Mayo Clinic covering everything from how your metabolism functions, portion control, good foods, excercise and nutrition.

The companion journal is terrific for tracking progress.

The Lose It! Quick-start section that helps you keep track as you add 5 habits, break 5 habits, and adopt 5 bonus habits.

The Live It! Section of the Journal makes losing weight easier as you use this section to follow the Mayo Clinic Healthy Weight Pyramid, record your activity each day, and keep track of your goals.

We're inspired and we're defintely losing those extra pounds before bathing suit season.
