If you love books, you've come to the right place. Here's where you'll find great books and more that our tomato reviewers have read and think other tomatoes will love too. Happy reading.
Editor’s Note: Our book reviews can not be bought. We only review books that we and other tomatoes have read and think you’ll enjoy. And while this section may occasionally be sponsored by a publisher or author, it does not guarantee that the book will be reviewed here, unless it stands on its own merits.
At first glance the title of this book might mislead you to think you are going to delve into a book along the lines of “The Happy Hooker” by Xaviera Hollander. But that’s just the title. This book goes in depth into many other facets of relating to the men in your life. It is a book that will offer you a sense of empowerment as a woman, in and out of the bedroom.
The author, Veronica Monet, has extensive media credits that include CNN, A&E, ABC's 20/20, FOX News, Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect and The New York Times. She has spoke at many colleges and has even lectured at MENSA. Her writing style is clear and engaging. She takes some of the most sensitive subjects and is able to address them with comfort and finesse’.
One of the most refreshing topics I specifically found in this book is talking to women about setting healthy boundaries and safety in relationships. These are some of the most crucial topics to address when you are talking about relationships. To find them addressed in a book that I thought would be just another book about sex tips was amazing for me. This makes it a must read for any young women entering into a more adult dating arena.
For those of us women with some years of experiences and relationships under our belts, there is still a large variety of topics and suggestions that will leave you feeling as if you’ve hit the goldmine of information into being able to communicate and relate to men on a level that may have never been talked about before.
Sex Secrets of the Escorts, Tips from a Pro is set to be read from cover to cover, or you can flip to the specific paragraphs of interest to you. Whatever you preference is, this book will become a valued reference that you will want to turn to time and again.

The Year That Follows

The story of a single women’s search for her brother’s lost son orphaned when his father died in the 911 attacks.
The main character Cat, with a young son herself sets out to find the boy. Along the way her aged father, now living in California, asks that she visit as he needs to unload a secret he has been carrying around for many years.
She also runs into a former male classmate who has become quite successful and things flow naturally.
She is also riddled w/indecisiveness, changes jobs frequently and is strapped for cash. Definitely not a Tomato.
While the story appears maudlin it was a fast read albeit sappy in parts but nevertheless enjoyable. Suggest if you want a short novel for a plane trip.
